Swiss Contribution to the Global Climate Observing Systems
As required by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, this report gives an overview on the Swiss contributions to the systematic observations with regard to the Global Climate Observing System (GCOS) and related programmes. Swiss authorities encourage and support research and systematic observation on the climate system and its impacts. This support extends to the specialised international organisations and programmes.
