IDAweb

IDAweb offers an easy and convenient way for universities, colleges and schools to access surface level data of MeteoSwiss.

IDAweb is a web-based interfacewhich enables access through the internet without any software installation necessary. This offers an access to IDAweb from any computer with internet access around the world.

The use of IDAweb is free of charge and limited for research and teaching purposes only. Faculty staff, researchers, teachers and students can apply and register. 

You have to use your university/college e-mail adress for registration.

High school students cannot register on their own; the thesis supervisor has to register in order to obtain the data for his students.

MeteoSwiss reserves the right to make inquiries about the applicant at the applicants institute in order to check the information on the registration form.
